We are a small company specializing in data warehousing and business intelligence. We help our customers to process and visualize their data. We build complex data warehousing solutions in the cloud. Our main area of expertise is telecommunication but we also work with financial and other business areas.

Our consultants are part of the international team providing BI and other software services to customers in Ireland and the UK.

The IT Support Specialist will use his/her knowledge to provide daily support to the Customers to manage and maintain a number of servers as well as troubleshoot issues and provide optimization suggestions.

Role of the IT Support Specialist

– Monitoring and maintaining servers health, performance, backups, updates with our vendor in order to secure business continuity for the Customer applications
– Troubleshoot issues and incidents related to the IIS, Apache, Wildfly servers and networking with coordination of our vendor
– Work with the customer development team to coordinate web application deployments, troubleshooting and monitoring releases.
– Will consult other team members to ensure technical and training documentation are created and kept up to date

What we require

– Computer Science or related degree with corresponding practical experience
– Very good problem-solving capability and cooperation talent to drive troubleshooting activities between vendors, customers and internal teams
– At least basic administration knowledge with Linux RHEL7 and Windows 2012 R2
– Understanding of JBOSS/WildFly Application Servers and Apache Tomcat
– Understanding of IIS Web Servers
– Good know-how of MS-SQL database systems and T-SQL
– Experience with configuration, change, requirements and test management in the field of systems and software development
– Highly proficient in spoken and written English (at least B2)
– Strong customer orientation and good communication skills
– Team player attitude
