What You’ll Do
As a BI Support Engineer, you’ll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring our customers’ systems are performing at their best. You’ll have the chance to:
- Monitor and optimize ETL jobs to run seamlessly.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues quickly, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Dive deep into bugs and find solutions that make a difference.
- Perform regular maintenance and tune systems for top performance.
- Develop and collaborate with other developers to implement impactful system enhancements (Infrastructure, SQL/ETL, BI Reporting models and other).
- Respond to customer queries and provide technical support.
- Take ownership of evening and weekend monitoring shifts.
Automation will be your ally — streamline routine tasks and focus on what truly matters. We don’t require you to know all the technologies perfectly but if you love learning and can connect the dots between what you know and new challenges, you’ll thrive in this role!
The Tech You’ll Work With
We work with cutting-edge tools and technologies, including:
- Must-haves: SQL Server, T-SQL Programming
- Azure (SQL DB, Data Factory, DevOps, Administration)
- SSIS
- Strategy One/MicroStrategy (is a huge plus), Power BI or OBIEE
- Oracle SQL
- Windows Administration
- UNIX/Linux
What We’re Looking For
- A passion for technology and a hunger to learn.
- English proficiency (B2 or higher) — we’ll check this during a quick call.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing (Kimball, Dimensional Model).
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
